I have had the opportunity to engage in direct practice work in a variety of settings spanning mental healthcare and healthcare systems and have been involved in applied projects to integrate those systems. This informs my work on suicide prevention, which calls for a systems approach that recognizes the importance of developing and leveraging links between people and groups (e.g., behavioral health and healthcare professionals and entities).
