  • The Math Center is located in the Anderson Academic Commons. It offers free, drop-in assistance for Business Calculus, Calculus I, II and III, Elements of College Algebra, and College Algebra and Trigonometry.

    The Math Center provides a place to study, to do homework, and to ask questions. Students are encouraged to work with other students in the same class. When they have questions, our assistants will give them hints and will guide them to find the answer. Working in small groups and having discussions with other students is one of the most effective ways to learn mathematics.

    For Spring Quarter 2023, the Math Center will open on Thursday, March 30. The hours of operation are Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, and Sunday 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm, Mountain Time.

    During online operation, all tutors will have a username that indicates that they are tutors. You may discuss questions with each other and with tutors using the chat feature, or get more direct help from a tutor by using video/audio chat or the Zoom whiteboard.
