    About Online Classes with Zoom

    With the onset of Covid 19, we a majority of Online classes using Zoom. These Online classes are not recorded due to copyright and privacy issues.

    At present, In-Person classes are not available with Zoom. The catalog indicates whether a class will be offer In Person or Online. Your membership covers both.

  • IMPORTANT NOTICES ABOUT SPRING TERM 2022 - OLLI Online

  • OLLI at DU Online REGISTRATION FOR SPRING TERM 2022 BEGINS AT 12:01 am on Monday, February 21, 2022

    OLLI at DU Managers and Facilitators are working tirelessly to bring you a wide selection of courses for the Spring 2022 term.  OLLI-wide, we will have over 30 in-person courses, 8 speaker sessions, 15 Zoom webinars and over 100 online course offerings - which are set to begin in late March.  We will once again use the Zoom "enterprise" platform provided by the University of Denver for our online delivery of courses.  In addition, we will have over 30 in-person courses meeting at OLLI East, OLLI Central, OLLI South and OLLI West locations. Online Catalog will be available for preview on Friday, February 18 and registration opens at 12:01 am on Monday, February 21 (late Sunday night). 

    NOTE: YOU MUST SET UP A PRO-CLASS ACCOUNT in order to register for OLLI Courses.

    Beginning in Fall Term 2020, OLLI at DU moved to a different registration program and every registrant, no matter how long you have been an OLLI member, MUST SET UP A NEW ACCOUNT.  We highly encourage you to do this prior to registration opening on Monday, February 21, 2022 (at 12:01 am).

    If you joined us for any term since Fall 2020,  you do not need to set up a new account on ProClass; simply login to your OLLI account. If you have forgotten your password, simply click "forgot password."

    OLLI DU's "Open registration" will close midnight on Monday, February 28, 2022.  We will begin filling courses at this time.   • The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at the University of Denver is a membership program designed for men and women age 50 and over, who wish to pursue lifelong learning in a relaxed non-competitive atmosphere.  There are no tests, no grades, no academic requirements - just a desire for learning and a penchant to be curious.

  • Weather Closure Announcements (when in-person)

  • Weather Policy:  Updated Information

    Classes Cancelled: All OLLI-on-Campus classes will be cancelled if the Denver Public Schools (DPS) are closed OR if DU closes for the day.

    Late Start: If the school district announces a late start, OLLIonCampus classes will start at the regularly scheduled time.

    Inservice Days:  If the school district is closed for inservice during a snow day, there would be no announcement on the news.  In that event, the greeting at the OLLI office, 303-871-3090, will be changed by 7am to announce whether classes will be held or not.

    The Tuesday Mornings "on Campus" Speaker sessions have been extremely popular; both our in-person presentations (pre-pandemic) and our six terms of online webinars.  Our speakers have presented topics which are engaging, thought-provoking, and at times just FUN. Although we can't meet in person on the DU campus yet, the Tuesday Mornings on Campus Speaker Webinars" are so popular we are continuing them virtually during our SPRING 2022 term. 

    All eight of this Spring 2022 Term On Campus webinars will focus on "ENRICHING YOUR LIFE THROUGH THE ARTS, TRAVEL, and PHOTOGRAPHY"

    OLLI at DU On Campus Program

    The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of Denver is a thriving community of intriguing individuals committed to lifelong learning. The launch of the OLLI On Campus site brings to this expanding community of learners a unique offering.   

    Whereas OLLI at DU has traditionally used peer facilitators to deliver courses, the OLLI On Campus courses will be presented by university facilty and experienced professionals of the Denver metro community.

    February 28- Spring Term 2022 "Open Registration Period" ends (we begin to fill courses with anyone who has registered during the first seven days; registration stays open for those courses which have not met the maximum enrollment).  It is best to register during the first seven days so as not to be disappointed.
