Susanne Klawetter, LCSW, is a doctoral candidate at the Graduate School of Social Work, University of Denver. She received her MSSW from the University of Texas at Austin. After practicing as a clinical social worker with families involved in the juvenile justice and child welfare systems, Susanne served as full-time clinical faculty at the Garland School of Social Work, Baylor University.
Susanne's scholarship interests are based in social work values and include issues related to human health and wellness, particularly for women and children. Specific research interests include social determinants of health, maternal and child health disparities, preterm birth, maternal mental health, and early childhood intervention in an effort to advocate for health equity through intervention and policy.
