Our classes may fill quickly and some are limited in class size. There are two ways to register:
1. Online registration which allows you to pay by credit card or check.
To register online just click the ONLINE REGISTRATION button above...It's really simple!
2. Mail in registration by using the registration form found below - downloading, printing and mailing the completed form with your check. Please scroll down to the Registration Form section for the form and mailing address.
If you have questions or want additional information, contact firstname.lastname@example.org
- Only one person can register per unique email address. If you share an email address with another OLLI member, one of you will need to register by mail. We encourage all our members to have their own email address! It is simple to create a gmail account.
- Please register for one class per time slot. If we are unable to place you in your selected class, you will have an opportunity to register for another class for that day/time if desired, at a later date.
- Rank your "Order of Preference" for each class. Rank the class you most want as number 1. Use each preference number only once. You should have only one class ranked as 1, one class ranked as 2, and so on.
- REGISTRATION CONFIRMATIONS WILL BE EMAILED ON DECEMBER 16TH
Is registration determined on a first-come, first-served basis?
During the first 10 days, no. After the first 10 days, yes. It may be helpful if you think about the registration period actually being two registration periods. During the first 10 days of registration, we accept all registrations as ‘requests.’ You aren’t guaranteed a seat in a course during that time. Your request for course placement is considered based on several factors. The main factor is whether there is a limit to the enrollment for a course. We use this and other factors to sort members into the courses requested, often relying on the member’s prioritization of courses desired. This is why course confirmations are not sent until two or three weeks before the term starts. Prior to the confirmations being sent, what you receive from the registration system is a verification that you submitted a ‘request’ for courses. After the initial 10-day period, we place the limits on enrollment for each course in the online registration system. At that point, registration does become a “first-come, first-served” system for courses that still have availability, and the verification you receive from the registration system is a confirmation of registration. When will I be notified of the courses for which I am confirmed?
Confirmations for the Winter Term will be emailed December 16th. All registrations after this date will receive confirmation emails from the registration system. CHECK YOUR EMAIL PERIODICALLY.SAVE YOUR CONFIRMATION EMAIL. IF YOU NEED TO MAKE COURSE CHANGES, THE LINK AT THE BOTTOM OF THE EMAIL RETURNS YOU TO YOUR REGISTRATION FORM TO ALTER IT.
