• Biographical Information

  • As a dual degree student at the University of Denver, I have completed my juris doctor and my Master's in forensic psychology.

I was born and raised in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, where I have spent my entire life aside from my undergraduate years. I attended Chapman University in Orange, California which provided me with four years of growth and learning in an environment very different from Denver. After my years in Orange County I was confident that Denver was where I wanted to further my education and start my professional career, making DU the obvious choice for my graduate programs.

I hope to combine the knowledge and education from my psychology and law programs to provide insight and experience in the realm of criminal justice reform and investigative law enforcement. My current focus and passion lies in better integrating the fields of law and psychology, which sparked a great interest in the creation and workings of specialty or problem-solving courts and the services they are able to provide. Too often the fields of law and psychology exist separately with a void between them; the combination and cooperation of these two fields, in my opinion, is vital to the success of the clients and communities they serve as well as the success of the systems themselves.
