    Co-investigators:

    • Christina H. Paguyo, Ph.D., Director of Assessment, Office of Teaching and Learning, University of Denver

This research study aims to explore the microcultures of assessment on the campus of a large private university to better understand the processes, practices, systems, and symbols of a robust culture of assessment.

  • Assessment Fellows

In Summer 2017, Dr. Sponsler co-developed and co-facilitated the Assessment Fellows Program at the University of Denver.  Assessment Fellows grew out of a vision to create a robust culture of assessment at DU. The intimate relationship between teaching, learning, and assessment is highlighted in DU Impact 2025. To further bolster this institutional vision, the Office of Teaching and Learning, in collaboration with the Morgridge College of Education, has trained an inaugural cohort of Assessment Fellows who can provide one-on-one consultations with colleagues about improving our pedagogical and co-curricular practices.
