Susanne Klawetter, LCSW, is a doctoral candidate at the Graduate School of Social Work, University of Denver. She received her MSSW from the University of Texas at Austin. After practicing as a clinical social worker with families involved in the juvenile justice and Departement of Human Service systems, Susanne served as clinical faculty at the School of Social Work, Baylor University.
Research interests include issues related to human health and wellness, particularly for women and children. Specific interests include mixed methods research that examines social determinants of maternal and child health, maternal and child health disparities, preterm birth, maternal mental health, and early childhood intervention in an effort to advocate for health equity through intervention and policy.
