  • Description

  • Dr. Anna Sher's Lab Group does research within conservation biology, with a particular interest in restoration of ecosystems damaged by invasions, with an emphasis on Tamarix spp. (aka tamarisk or saltcedar). Other topics include population genetics and evolution of rare plant species and plants as indicators of climate change. Our group includes post docs, graduate students, undergraduates, and volunteers. Members of the Sher Lab conduct scientific work in the field, at the research lab at DU and at The Labs at Denver Botanic Gardens (DBG), and in the greenhouses at DU and at DBG.
