  • Bio: 

    With a background advocating for young people in the criminal and juvenile justice systems, Ceema focuses on education equity issues, specifically school push-out and policies that contribute to the school-to-prison pipeline. Ceema received their MSSW from Columbia University and MPA from CUNY John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Ceema practiced for five years as a forensic social work with the Legal Aid Society in the New York City Family Court.
