Rape Aggression Defense (R.A.D.)

R.A.D. is a women-only self-defense class offered throughout the United States and Canada, primarily on college campuses. The program is designed to develop and enhance self-defense options so they become viable for women being attacked. Please see the video about the R.A.D. class at DU.

R.A.D. classes are held in the Evans building, 2130 S. High St., west of the Driscoll Center South building. The class fee is $25. Reserve your spot today, class size is limited.

R.A.D REGISTRATION:

Faculty and Staff may register for R.A.D training through the employee tab in Webcentral.

Students may register for R.A.D by clicking on the following link: Student Registration and using their student ID and Webcentral password.

Non-Affiliated community members may register by filling out a contact us form and inculding the dates of the courses you would like to take.

The next three (3) day, twelve (12) hour certification class will be held the following dates and times (pdf):

APRIL 2012

  • Session 1 of 3, 4/13/2012, Friday, 5 PM - 9 PM
  • Session 2 of 3, 4/14/2012, Saturday, 10 AM - 2 PM
  • Session 3 of 3, 4/15/2012, Sunday, 10 AM - 2 PM

MAY 2012

  • Session 1 of 3, 5/7/2012, Monday, 5 PM - 9 PM
  • Session 2 of 3, 5/14/2012, Monday, 5 PM - 9 PM
  • Session 3 of 3, 5/21/2012, Monday, 5 PM - 9 PM
