Welcome to the OSS Portfolio Page!
The Organization of Security Students (OSS) is a diverse student group organized to promote an understanding of current international and national security issues. The members of OSS seek to engage a variety of ideologies that influence and impact security issues, in order to challenge and further develop their own thoughts and beliefs. OSS members actively examine security issues through discussion forums with conflict resolution, human rights, and development groups; as well as faculty presentations. These multi-discipline events serve to establish a broad awareness of significant global issues that professionals and academics continue to face in the globalizing world.
Constitution Campus Information Clearinghouse
In response to the election of Donald J. Trump, who has variously promised to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program and deport or incarcerate all undocumented persons present in the United States, students and others have called on campuses across the country to provide some form of campus “sanctuary.” The Constitution Campus Information Clearinghouse is intended to gather information about what a sanctuary policy could contain, and address policy and legal arguments pertaining to various sanctuary provisions.
