Using WebAssign

  • Reading an eBook in WebAssign

This document addresses MATH 1200 but in reality much of the advice relates to all WebAssign eBooks.

  • Browsers

For WebAssign to work properly, you'll need an up-to-date internet browser installed with the most current version of Adobe Flash Player. Google Chrome seems to be the best for WebAssign because it automatically updates the Flash Player for you; Mozilla Firefox also works well (and it is the preferred browser for Blackboard). In general, Internet Explorer and Safari have the most difficulties with both systems, so they are not recommended.
Consult the system requirements page on WebAssign or contact their customer support for more information.

  • WebAssign Doesn't Like my Answer.doc

There are quite a few reasons why WebAssign might not "like" your answer. Consider some of the top ones listed in this document.
