  • Payroll and Accounting Assistant in our Budget and Planning office. Karen will process payroll for our entire College. Karen is a native of Denver and attended Manual High School, Community College of Denver, and took some classes at DU's Woman's College. She worked at Mountain Bell/US West (now know as Qwest) for over 25 years; 16 years in the training and education department. She developed and managed proposals and contracts for large training development projects that enabled employees to function more effectively and increased overall productivity, designed and developed training, and was an instructor for Services Representatives, Order Writers, and Network Monitoring Technicians. Karen also worked for a small business for over six years handling all HR functions, which included, payroll, AR, AP, administering employee benefits, new employee hiring, setting up out of state taxes.
