The JDP Program Petition Form.pdf should be used to petition any special circumstances by which you are unable to follow the intended degree requirements of your catalog year, or for special requests regarding additional independent study courses, etc. This is for JDP program level requirements only.
Submit this form to the JDP Office or Rhonda.Eaker@du.edu. This form is also available via DocuSign which eliminates the need to track down signatures. Click here to initiate the form. Students will be notified of the outcome of their petition within two business days of the JDP Committee Meeting at which it is considered.
Students petitioning university level policies should follow the DU Academic Exceptions Process. This process includes those requesting a time extension.
