President: Jake Dubbert
Jake is a second year Global Finance, Trade and Economic Integration student specializing in quantitative methods. He is currently working at the Pardee Center for International Futures as a Data Team Project Lead. Jake was in DC this past summer interning with the Office of the Chief Economist at the US Patent and Trademark Office, where he contributed to research related to intellectual property and innovation economics. Prior to his time at Korbel, Jake worked as an Interest Rate Derivatives Trader for a firm in Denver, focused on monetary policy and the global economy.
Upon graduation, Jake’s goal is to pursue a career as an Economist, Economic Analyst or Quantitative Analyst, and is specifically interested in international trade and monetary policy. On the side, he continues to pursue his dream of becoming a professional golfer.

2nd Year Representative: Will Hall
Will is a second year Global Finance, Trade and Economic Integration student with a concentration in data analytics for project and policy making. Upon graduating Korbel, Will hopes to pursue a career where he can leverage data science, Mandarin, and design thinking within international economic development -specifically in infrastructure projects. The Brookings Institute, the Asian Development Bank, and UNDP are some of his dream job placements.
Before graduate school, Will worked at FirstBank Headquarters and volunteered with Denver’s Rohingya community on the side. His volunteering with the refugee community, which continued after transitioning job sectors, steered him away from banking and into NGO work. He is currently: a contract work hustler, studying for his Salesforce Administrative certification, and an avid outdoorsman.
