I am Music and Performing Arts Reference Librarian at University of Denver. I hold a B.M. in Classical Guitar Performance and an M.A. in Music Theory, both from DU's Lamont School of Music, and an M.L.I.S. from DU's Morgridge College of Education. My research interests include the bibliography of classical guitar and lute music, contemporary practices in Balinese gamelan music, and metric structure and conflict in Baroque music.
I served in the Peace Corps from 1993-1996 in the West African nation of Guinea, and I am a founder and former board member of Friends of Guinea. I have been an adjunct faculty member at Colorado State University in Pueblo, Adams State College, Pueblo Community College, and Pikes Peak Community College.
In addition to my responsibilities as librarian, I teach MUAC 4000: Introduction to Graduate Study in Music at DU's Lamont School of Music.
