Donald R. Bacon

Professor of Marketing

  • Biographical Description

    • Web Site: I typically teach marketing metrics, consumer behavior, marketing research, and new product development, and teach at the graduate and undergraduate levels. In my research, I often apply psychometric theory and multivariate statistics to such problems as customer satisfaction assessment and the evaluation of management education. Most recently I have been involved in several studies assessing the effect of various management education experiences, including group projects, case teaching, and other writing assignments, on learning outcomes (see the "Learning Research" tab on this site). I also consult with several industry clients on sampling, survey design, and data analysis issues. Office: Room 495, Daniels College of Business Phone: 303-871-2707 Email: dbacon(at)du(dot)edu
