Dr. Young-Jin (YJ) Lee is an Associate Professor of Business Information and Analytics at the Daniels College of Business, University of Denver. He earned his Ph.D. in Business Administration with specialization in Information Systems from the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington, Seattle. He serves on the editorial board of Communications of the Association for Information Systems.
His research interests span diverse economic and marketing aspects of online social media, digital/mobile markets, piracy and digital rights management, and the adoption and diffusion of IT innovations. His work has appeared in several top-ranking academic journals and conference proceedings including Management Science, Information Systems Research, Journal of Management Information Systems, European Journal of Information Systems, and many others. He is the recipient of numerous honors and awards including the 2017 Management Science Best Paper Award in Information Systems. Lee gained professional experience as an information strategist for Samsung Group.
