The Western Colorado MSW program draws students from the entire Western Slope. As a rite of passage and program ritual, all students pin their town of residence on a map of Colorado which hangs in the program offices at Blake Avenue.

Social Sustainability in Western Colorado is important to social work practice at the micro, mezzo, and macro levels.  The Mountain Partnership at the UN leverages key resources to attain sustainable mountain community development.

Rachel's route one day as a Western Colorado MSW field liaison in 2013-2014! Site visits are one of Rachel's favorite program activities.

Western Colorado MSW Program office is jointly operated with the Garfield County Health and Human Services Dept.
