Shevene Cole
Shevene Cole is currently a Research Methods & Statistics PhD Student at the University of Denver. A recently separated Air Force Veteran, her areas of research interests include, but aren’t limited to systems leadership, funding & policy development, and intersectionality within Department of Defense organizations.
Menglong Cong
Menglong (Jason) Cong is a 4th doctoral student in the Research Method and Statistics at the University of Denver. Menglong holds a B.S. degree in Applied Psychology and a M.A. degree in Educational Psychology. He is currently a graduate assistant of the Marsico Institute for Early Learning, as well as a research consultant & data analyst for an early childhood education company. His research interest includes international students’ acculturation, children development and mathematics learning, and mixed-method research.
David Eby
David has a bachelor’s degree in Biology and Secondary Education and is pursuing an MLIS degree with Research Data Management concentration. He has worked in various positions at public libraries and schools in Missouri.
Katie George
Katie George is a 4th year PhD student in the RMS program, with research interests including mixed methods research and research on evaluation. She stays at home with her 16 month old daughter and plans to work as a professional evaluator in the future.
Erik Halvorson
Erik Halvorson is currently a second year PhD student in Morgridge College of Education’s RMS Program. He holds a master’s in Applied Analytics and his bachelor’s was in Accounting. His current employment is with the U.S. Department of Energy where he splits his time between investigating allegations of fraud and working in their Analytics Group. His research interests include social psychology (related to criminology) and evaluation design and methodologies.
Laney Jones
Laney is in her second year at DU to receive my masters degree in Library and Information Science where her research interests have been in bibliotherapy, prison libraries, and working with marginalized populations through the public library. In her time while she is not studying, she is often hiking, biking, making chocolate chip cookies, or reading contemporary fiction!
Alexandrea Kord
Alexandrea Kord is currently a MLIS student at University of Denver. Her research interests include community archives and community outreach.
Alec Millman
Alec Millman is a 2nd year MLIS student, coming to the field as a data analyst. His academic work is focused on technological facets of Information Science and the theoretical implications of the greater DIKW concept.
Michele Newman
Michele Newman is a first year MLIS student at the University of Denver. She holds a Master’s degree in Music Theory from Indiana University - Bloomington and a Bachelor of Music degree in Theory and Composition from the University of North Texas. Her research interest lie in digital libraries/preservation, digital humanities, and music librarianship.
Ellie Svoboda
Ellie Svoboda is a second-year student in the MLIS program and works as the OER Graduate Assistant at the Strauss Health Sciences Library at CU Anschutz.
