Hello! I'm a Colorado transplant from sunny Tucson, Arizona.
After earning a B.A. in English Literature from the University of Arizona (2007-2011), I decided the stories I was really interested in were stories about people and relationships. This inspired me to further my education focusing on the realm of psychology. Particularly, the cross section between psychology and the law-- enter forensics. I'm working towards earning my Masters in forensic psychology through DU's Graduate School of Professional Psychology.
I have held internships at the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner as an Investigative Intern, the Kempe Center's Fostering Healthy Futures program research and Porter emergency room conducting psychological evaluations. My intrests span the forensic field, and include conversations surrounding social justice, diversity, biases in mental health, psychoeducation, and providing a continuum of care to those with severe and persistent mental illness.
