My callejera was living on the streets of Guatemala. We met while I volunteered with a beautiful organization - Ayuda para la salud de los perros y los gatos

Briar was a shelter pup, rescued by the Colorado Correctional Institute and trained at the women's prison. She is learning to overcome her anxiety with puppy classes via DU's Institute for Human-Animal Connection! As she trains, she often makes appearances in IHAC meetings!
