  • Ellen Miller-Brown's Bio

    • I retired in May 2013 after thirty-seven years in public education where I was a teacher, school leader and district leader.  It is my great fortune to continue my passion for education and democracy at University of Denver.  I am currently serving as a part-time Clinical Assistant Professor in the department of Educational Policy and Leadership Studies.  It is an honor to work with MA, EdD and PhD candidates who are learning to become the kind of transformational educational leaders our students deserve.  I received my BA in English at Colorado State University, my MA in Reading from University of Arizona and my PhD in Multicultural Teacher Education at the University of New Medico.  For fun I spend time with my family and friends hiking, running, swimming, reading and gardening.
