The Institute for Human-Animal Connection (IHAC) is a center for the study of the interrelationship and health of people, animals, and the environment. It was founded in 2005 at the University of Denver and is housed within its Graduate School of Social Work.

IHAC offers professional development programs, conferences, and learning events in both residential and online formats.

IHAC employs accomplished faculty and staff members, hosts doctoral students and interns, and collaborates with institute fellows on research and human-animal initiatives globally.
