    The program is a partnership between the Office of Research and Graduate Education and the Division of Marketing and Communications. The two-year fellowship program will give faculty access to training for disseminating scholarship and research to public venues including how best to utilize blogs, radio, television, op-eds and social media. Dr. Alexander was selected in the inaugural cohort of fellows. Learn more here and here

  • DU Grand Challenges Collective Impact Cohort

    As part DU Grand Challenges initiative, the Center for Community Engagement to advance Scholarship and Learning (CCESL) created groups to take action and improve daily living in our communities. Teams of 14-22 community members, faculty, staff and students will collaborate as part of Collective Impact Cohorts, working collaboratively across disciplines to create measurable change in a variety of areas. Each cohort will be able to request up to $100,000 to support its proposed actions during this two-year commitment. Dr. Alexander is one of the faculty co-leads for the Crime and Safety Cohort.     CJDC believes all children and youth should experience adolescence free from over-criminalization in a just society that promotes their well-being and provides second chances. Dr. Alexander serves as a CJDC Board Member.
