  • Welcome

Welcome to my Daniels Distinction Portfolio! I have created this portfolio and summary presentation to reflect on my undergraduate experience at the University of Denver. Over the last four years, with the support of advisors and Professors, I have had the opportunity to pursue experiential classes in Daniels, Korbel, and abroad, compete in numerous case competitions, and apply my studies in internships. I share a handful of those experiences and reflections, organizing them into Daniels' six learning outcomes. These experiences have truly helped me grow on a personal level, have stretched me intellectually, and have brought me closer to my professional aspirations.

    Introduction

Thank you for visiting my portfolio! Now in my fourth year at the University of Denver, I have come to reflect more on how transformative my time here has meant to me personally. In the Boettcher Scholar community, we often discuss the mailbox moment. For me, that meant I could study Finance and International Relations at the perfect fit institution, do internships in public service and finance, and continue to advocate for bold community policy.

This June 2022, I will be graduating with double majors in Finance and International Studies, with minors in Math and Leadership Studies and the University Honors program completed. I'm thrilled that these studies have given me a strong background to be interning with Morgan Stanley in Summer 2022 as a Summer Credit Risk Analyst in New York. While on exchange as part of a 4+1 Master's program in international economics, in Fall 2022, I am excited to further my research skills on a government of Switzerland 2022 ThinkSwiss Research Scholarship. Based at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, I will be investigating the green bond market, under the advising of Professor Beatrice Weder di Mauro, President of the Centre for Economic Policy Research. Shaped by my South American heritage and growing up in the U.S., the U.K., and South Africa, I am excited to experience the world of finance after graduation. A PhD in Economics after several years working could be of interest to deepen my understanding of financial innovation and resiliency.

If I haven't gotten to know you yet, I'd love to, so please reach out!
