Schedule a Pre-Law Advising Appointment
If you are considering the legal profession, deciding on if law school is right for you, or applying to law school, or have any other questions about pursuing a legal career, you can schedule a pre-law advising appointment using the link below or via email.
Current Undergraduate Students:
Pre-law advising appointments can be scheduled online via the PCO platform. If you log in to PCO and do not see any appointments with a pre-law advisor (Rita O'Connell), please fill out the interest form linked above to join the pre-law list, and then email Rita to schedule an appointment.

Note that pre-law advising no longer provides academic advising; if you have questions about your course schedule or fulfilling major/minor requirements, you will need to contact DU academic advising.
Current Graduate Students:
If you are a graduate student, please meet with your assigned Career Advisor by scheduling an appointment in PCO or calling (303) 871-2150.

Rita O'Connell, M.A.
I joined the Career & Professional Development team in June 2021. I have a Master's degree from the University of Denver where I also worked in career services as a graduate fellow, and I earned my undergrad at the University of Wisconsin - Madison where I majored in Psychology with a certificate in Criminal Justice. I enjoy helping students leverage their classroom knowledge, gain real-world experience, and translate their passions and interests into careers.
I serve all undergrads in the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (CAHSS), the Disability Services Program (DSP) and the Learning Effectiveness Program (LEP), and Pre-Law
