These are photographs of the site of Amache taken in the last several years. They are intended to provide an overview of the kinds of tangible history still present at the site.
Although all of the buildings at the site are gone, the blocks where internees lived have a very visible cultural landscape, including building foundations and internee-planted trees. These will making intepreting archaeological remains very grounded in the lived spaces of the camp.
