About the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute
The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at the University of Denver is a membership program designed for men and women age 50 and over, who wish to pursue lifelong learning in a relaxed non-competitive atmosphere. There are no tests, no grades, no academic requirements - just a desire for learning and a penchant to be curious.
About OLLI West
OLLI West is one of three OLLI sites in the Denver Metro area. Our OLLI West site is in two locations: Jefferson Unitarian Church, 14350 West 32nd Avenue and Shepherd of the Hills Presbyterian Church, 11500 West 20th Avenue. We have three terms - Fall, Winter & Spring. Most classes are held one day a week for eight weeks - Monday-Friday - with morning classes at 9:30-11:30 am and afternoon classes at 1:00-3:00 pm.
Karen Thorne, Manager
OLLI members may participate in as many classes as desired at any of the three OLLI sites - Central, West & South (contingent upon space availability) for $100 per term.

Our Weather Policy
If Jefferson County Public Schools are closed due to the weather - OLLI West is closed. If there is a late start for Jeffco Schools, it generally does not affect the morning class start time for OLLI West.

If Jeffco School District is closed - OLLI West is closed.
Shepherd of the Hills Presbyterian Church - New Satellite Class Space for OLLI West Classes
You will note in the class listings for spring term that we have a new OLLI West satellite site at Shepherd of the Hills Presbyterian Church, 11500 West 20th Avenue (corner of 20th & Robb Street – one block east of Simms) – just a short few miles from Jefferson Unitarian Church. This new site gives us additional needed classroom space so we can offer you even more great OLLI West classes! There is plenty of parking right in front of the building. Be sure to check your catalog of classes carefully for which site your classes will be held.

Through the gracious generosity of an OLLI West member (who wishes to remain anonymous), we now have a well-funded OLLI West Scholarship Fund. The fund will assist those who wish to participate in OLLI West classes, workshops, retreats, etc. but are financially unable. If you, or someone you know, would like more information, please contact Karen Thorne at (303) 717-4299 or firstname.lastname@example.org. All inquiries and scholarships will remain totally confidential.
