OLLI at DU - On the Move
-
Simply put, OLLI at DU has decided to go on the road in order to reach new audiences with the great lifelong learning classes we have become known for over the past 27 years. OLLI On the Move (OOM) takes lifelong learning to the outside community in a post-pandemic era of rediscovered social engagement. We have chosen to share our great programming on a wider basis – in essence to present exciting and educational courses to senior organizations, libraries and adult living communities.
- OOM relies on a team of some of our very best, experienced OLLI facilitators to present single class sessions or 4-week courses at locations throughout the Denver Metro area.
- Participants in the course purchase affiliate memberships that permit them to register for a single offsite course, paying a reduced rate.
If you are interested in bringing an OLLI at DU course into your community, we invite you to speak to our OOM coordinator to discuss potential course sites and desired course topics, times and dates for the OOM courses.
Like OLLI at DU itself, OOM OLLI at DU brings people together to learn and grow while creating meaningful connections with others.
At OLLI at DU, we create spaces for dialog and deep understanding. Whatever your interest, OLLI at DU is here for you with an array of courses that span current events, the arts, the natural world, travel, politics, psychology, wellness, and world history. OLLI On the Move goes a step farther by coming to you.
Creative thinking can be cultivated by simple habits like exercise, sleep, and reading. But what are the other catalysts? Planned and unplanned interactions with close friends, casual acquaintances, and complete strangers can be rewarding. Interacting with an expert in a topic you are familiar with or know nothing will undoubtedly stretch your thinking and spark your creativity. Please join us!
