Kate Willink, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Human Communication Studies. Her research focuses on cultural memory, education, and race relations; intersections of performance, culture, and ethnography; transformational learning in the intercultural communication classroom; and community based reseach. Kate's publications include recent articles in Text and Performance Studies, Cultural Studies, Critical Methodologies, and Communication and Critical/Cultural Studies. Her upcoming book, Bringing Desegregation Home, will be published by Palgrave Macmillan (July 2009).
