  • Biographical Description

  • I am a lecturer in the Writing Program at DU. My teaching interests include multimodal composition, visual rhetoric, and documentary photography and film. I have a PhD in Comparative Literature from the University of Chicago where I specialized in Czech literature and the immigrant experience. My published research includes work on dystopian fiction, panopticonism, exilic self-fashioning, and Czech poetry. I also have an MA in linguistics/TESOL and enjoy working with international students.
