• Pizza At Old Turkish Fort High Above Sarajevo
  

  The steep climb to the old Turkish fort is worth it to see the city lights come on and hear the Call to Prayer during Ramadan.  We could hear the Call from about 20 mosques which signaled the end of the daily fast for those observing Ramadan.
• July 4th, Bosnian style
  

  We did our best with beef sausages and baguettes for buns. 
• The Sebilj, a fountain where everyone meets
  

  The Sebilj fountain is the centerpiece of the main square in Baščaršija, old town Sarajevo.  Legend says that if you drink from this fountain you will always return to Sarajevo.  I have found that legend to be true!
• Outside our Hostel
  

  The location is perfect in Baščaršij, old town Sarajevo.....except for Cheers across the street that is.

  Srebrenica, site of the worst genocide in Europe since WWII
