Welcome to the web site for public presentations on Global Warming, Population, Affluence and Climate Change by Dr. Jonathan F. Ormes, Research Professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy, Univ. of Denver. Dr. Ormes was formerly the Director of Space Sciences at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland. His research career involved studies of the origin and characteristics of the relativistic particles that pervade our galaxy known as cosmic rays. After retiring from NASA in July 2004 and moving back to his home state of Colorado, Jonathan became interested in the problems of population growth and climate change.
