  • About Me

  • I grew up outside of Seattle, WA and moved to Denver in the Fall of 2018. As a queer scholar, I value equity, diversity, and social justice, and seek to support LGBT people in living meaningful and exciting lives. Specifically, I research how sexuality and gender interact with an emphasis on transgender healthcare access.

Initially headed for medical school, I changed trajectory to social work with the desire to give back to my community. After completing my MSW program, I worked as an ER crisis worker and a substance abuse counselor, focusing on residential care for high risk men with extensive histories of homelessness and incarceration.
