Career Development Contacts and Office Hours


  • Career Services works specifically with GSSW students and graduates throughout all programs (Denver, MSW@DENVER, Glenwood Springs and Durango).  Working with students and graduates to identify a dream job or explore their options, the Career Development Advisor assists students to articulate skills, knowledge and experiences gained at GSSW to be a competitive applicant in the social work job market.  Career Services emphasizes career development through:

    • 1:1 and group career advising
    • Career events
    • Assistance with job & internship application materials (resumes, cover letters, etc.)
    • Tailored mock interview and salary negotiation practice
    • Insight into the Colorado Licensure process
    • Personal branding through online platforms, such as LinkedIn
